Corby Steel Diving Club
Corby Steel Diving Club’s mission is to bring the sport of springboard & platform
diving to the highest competitive standards in the East Midlands.
The club has divers aged 5 to 16 inclusive of boys and girls who travel from far and wide to be part of this unique and rewarding club.
The Club is the competitive outlet for the Corby Borough Council Diving
Development Scheme and provides divers in the program with an avenue to
compete. The club is one of the newest clubs in the country and caters for
divers on the first step of the competition ladder through to Senior International

Platform and springboard diving are two of the most spectacular and exciting
aquatic sports. They involve an immense amount of strength, flexibility and
Corby Steel Diving Club is a club which promotes health, wellbeing, fitness and friendship, its a safe place for children to develop and discover their potential.
Corby Steel Diving Club have been attending National Competitions since 2011. Our first competition was the 2011 England Talent Identification Games in Southend.
The first competitive medals for the club were won in April 2012 at the GBDF Spring Masters in Manchester. The Club won Gold on 5m platform, Silver on 1m springboard and Bronze on 1m springboard.
The first ASA medals were won in May 2012 at the Harrogate Hydro Novices. The Club won Bronze in the girls 10/11yrs and Silver in the boys 12/13 yrs.
The first National medal was won at the 2015 ASA National Skills Finals in Manchester. The Club won Silver in the boys 14+ group.
The first Age Group medal was won in March 2018 at G-Star Diving Championships in the City of Leeds. The Club won Bronze in the girls 9/11yrs group in the 3m springboard event.
Corby Steel Diving Club attends approx. 13 UK National Competitions each year. These are held in locations all over the UK including prestigious venues such as Plymouth, Leeds,Sheffield, Aberdeen and Dublin.
Throughout these events the Club carries out extensive Social Media promotion. Follow up exposure after competitions is through press releases, social media posts, Regional reports and website news.
