Margery Pepper GB rowing triallist and Leander Club athlete

I began rowing at Wallingford Rowing Club at 15. Fell in love with the sport, the challenge and the team. I continued rowing at university whilst in Bristol and began trialing for the National squad in the 2013/14 season.

I am now aiming to make the senior GB women's team for the 2016/17 season.

Happiest memory racing - winning a Bronze Intermediate medal at BUCS regatta steering a quad (2013).

Most memorable race to date - Henley Royal Regatta quarter finals, racing for the first year in my single against an Olympic Bronze medallist and I was ahead for the first 1/3 of the race!! (The outcome was much the opposite, but it was such a fun experience).

Currently funding myself, with the support of Leander Club, family and friends and a gracious God.
